Qatar Open: Fearless Forecast Semi-final Match-ups
Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are on a possible collision course very early this year but they will have to deal first with their quarterfinal opponents. Here is my fearless forecast for the semi-finals today:
1st Semis: Rafael Nadal (ESP) (#1) vs. Nikolay Davydenko (RUS) (#22)
Nadal will have a fight on his hands against Ernests Gulbis, but he should prevail in 3. Davydenko will have to contend with Karlovic's serves but should win in 3.
2nd Semis: Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) (#13) vs. Roger Federer (SUI) (#2)
Tsonga should easily win his QF match over Garcia-Lopez in 2, while Federer faces a tricky opponent in Troicki. But he should win in 2 also.
