This woman has an incredible sense of humor! Since I grew up watching stern-faced champions like Steffi Graf and Justine Henin, or controversial ones like Martina Hingis or Serena Williams, I am really surprised to find out that there are funny and crazy tennis players out there! In the men's side, Novak Djokovic is the first one that comes to mind - what with his imitating antics - which made him very popular years ago. They are really hilarious to watch.
As for Li Na, her post-match interviews this week have been peppered with lots of jokes her methods of motivation and how her husband snores and her love for shopping! It's so refreshing to hear, especially that she makes those jokes just right after she won the match for that round! If she can be funny under such duress, just imagine if she was really relaxed! She must be a fun person to be with! Anyhow, now I am a fan of hers and hopes she continues her dream run in this year's Australian Open.
