Agnieszka Radwanska - Quarterfinalist - Australian Open 2011
This is the fourth time in her young career that Agnieszka Radwanska (#14) has reached the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam. She reached the quarters here in 2008 and again, now in 2011. She was also a Wimbledon quarterfinalist in 2008 and 2009. Today however, she lost to Kim Clijsters. She still has to reach a Grand Slam semifinal. Below was her path to the quarters -
QF - lost to Kim Clijsters (BEL) (#3) 63 76(4)
4R - Peng Shuai (CHN) (#54) 75 63 75
3R - Simona Halep (ROM) (#77) 61 62
2R - Petra Martic (CRO) (#140) 63 64
1R - Kimiko Date Krumm (JPN) (#56) 64 46 75
With her performance here, she should inch closer to the Top 10 when ranking are released next week.
