Moorilla Hobart International: Three Interesting Match-ups for the Second Round
#1 Alicia Molik (AUS) (#135) vs. Sara Errani (ITA) (#43)
Well, if Alicia wants her rankings to go higher, she has to win this match over Italian Sara Errani. Both had to go through 5-5 before winning their first round matches so I think Alicia has a good chance of upsetting the higher ranked Errani, if she just plays well.
# 2 Roberta Vinci (ITA) (#39) vs. Elena Baltacha (GBR) (#55)
I like watching Vinci play since she does the serve and volley. I've not seen Elena play much these past season but I'm surprised that she had climbed up into the Top 60! So, I guess the match tomorrow will be an interesting slugfest between the two.
# 3 Marion Bartoli (FRA) (#17) vs. Elena Vesnina (RUS) (#53)
Well, both did not give much games to their opponents so it would be interesting to see how they would deal with each other. Marion gave out only one game. Elena, three. To each other, we'll see.
