Andy Murray - Runner-up - Australian Open 2011
Andy Murray is already in his third Grand Slam final, but still no nearer in finally snaring one. A finalist here also last year, Murray's performance this year was even more disastrous, with a scoreline that showed no indication that it was a close fight! I just hope it does not affect him very much so that he can continue to perform well throughout these next few tournaments. Murray lost to Djokovic in the finals. Below was his path to the finals -
F - lost to Novak Djokovic (SRB) (#3) 46 26 36
SF - David Ferrer (ESP) (#7) 46 76 (2) 61 76 (2)
QF - Alexandr Dolgopolov (UKR) (#46) 75 63 67(3) 63
4R - Jurgen Melzer (AUT) (#11) 63 61 61
3R - Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (ESP) (#32) 61 61 62
2R - Ilya Marchenko (UKR) (#79) 61 63 63
