Bojana Jovanovski: Featured Player for the Sydney Medibank International
Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia, currently ranked #77, reached her first semi-final of the year in a Premier tournament! What an accomplishment. However, she lost to eventual champion, Li Na in her semi-final. This was her path -

1R - Kaia Kanepi (EST) (#22) 64 64
I think we just found one of the most promising players who has the ability to break out into the Top 30 this year. In this tournament, Bojana had to win over three much higher ranked players and still she almost made it into the finals! Her wins were over players who are not pushovers - Kanepi, Rezai and Pennetta. Let's see how 2011 shapes up for her!
