Andy Roddick - Runner-up: ATP Brisbane International
Andy Roddick fails to defend his title at the Brisbane International, losing to Robin Soderling 63 75. However, it's still a good performance for him since Robin is the only higher-ranked player he has lost to. This is still good preparation for him for the Australian Open. Below was his path to the Finals -
F - lost to Robin Soderling (SWE) (#4) 63 75
SF - Kevin Anderson (RSA) (#56) 62 46 62
QF - Marcos Baghdatis (CYP) (#21) 62 63
2R - Alexandr Dolgopolov (UKR) (#49) 64 61
1R - Marinko Matosevic (AUS) (#138) 63 62
Only Kevin Anderson stretches Roddick, maybe because both of them are big servers.
