Before the Dallas Open, Jelena Jankovic has had a horrible summer. However, she made a turnaround here and will be vying for the title against Roberta Vinci. Jelena had wins over Yaroslava Shvedova (#45), Arantxa Rus (#61), Sorana Cirstea (#38) and Casey Dellacqua (#106). This should give her confidence as she goes into the US Open next week.
