US Open 2012 Women's Singles Draw Fearless Forecast

Serena is on a high this year, winning both Wimbledon and the 2012 London Olympics gold medal in succession.  She is again, a big favorite to win the US Open.  Based on the draw, my bets for the semifinal matches are -

Kim Clijsters vs. Maria Sharapova (upper side of the draw)

and

Serena Williams vs. Angelique Kerber (lower side of the draw)

Well, the finals look like a repeat of the London Olympics finals and I pick Serena Williams to win her fourth US Open title.
