Tommy Robredo: Player Ranked Outside the Top 100 Who Reached the Second Round of the US Open 2012

One of my favorite players of his generation, Tommy Robredo is back in the mix, and has reached the second round of this year's US Open 2012, winning over 27th seed Andreas Seppi 61 75 63 in his first round match.  In fact, Robredo has actually reached the fourth round here seven times!  Impressive!  

His second round opponent is Leonardo Mayer of Germany, ranked #63 in the world. He might have a good chance there, however, Juan Martin Del Potro is also lurking in his side of the draw.  Anyway, it's just great to see him play again!
