Caroline Wozniacki is currently contesting the semifinal of New Haven against Petra Kvitova. She has had wins here over Dominika Cibulkova, Sofia Arvidsson and Ekaterina Makarova.
She also reached the semifinals in Montreal, losing to eventual champion Petra Kvitova. She had wins over Aleksandra Wozniak, Varvara Lepchenko and Kiki Bertens.
She definitely is a contender for the US Open title this year.
