Lleyton Hewitt: Player Ranked Outside the Top 100 Who Reached the Second Round of the US Open 2012

Lleyton Hewitt of Australia, ranked #125 in the world, won his first round match against Tobias Kamke of Germany, ranked #90 in the world, 46 62 61 64 in this year's US Open.  Hewitt won the US Open in 2001 and has a good chance of going deep into the draw this time around.  He will meet Gilles Muller, ranked #53 in the world, in the second round.
