It was my first time to see Mikhail Youzhny of Russia, currently ranked #106, play and now I see the reason why he was a two-time US Open semi-finalist! He plays at a certain speed and the balls just whiz past you, if you're not used to it.
That's why his match against Italian Gianluca Naso ended quickly 62 62.
Not so today, since Lukas Lacko of Slovakia is a former top 40 player, that's why the scoreline today was three sets 16 76(7) 75.
Tomorrow, he will meet Marco Chiudinelli of Switzerland. That would be quite a juicy final!
