This is not the first time I've seen Go Soeda of Japan. He was also in the Malaysian Open last year. He is currently ranked #120 but he got as high as #47 in 2012.
This week, he reaches the semi-finals of the Philippine Open as he defeated David Guez of France 63 46 64.
He was also in the qualifying part of the Australian Open and lost in the second round to Alexander Kuryavtsev of Russia (#166).
