So happy that they finally found a sponsor that could bring back the Manila leg in the ATP Challenger tour. Taga-Cebu pa ang backer! Why not?
The last event was held in 1994 and I heard Tim Henman was even there! Imagine!! Nakapunta na pala ng Pinas ang Tim! Lumipad pa ako ng London para makita sya, he played here naman pala in a competitive tournament talaga!
I hope this becomes a yearly ritual. The Challenger tour previews some of the up-and-coming new players and those former top 10-50 players who were injured and want to go back into the main draw.
If you want to watch, it's held at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Court near DLSU.
The match on Saturday starts at 1PM and it will feature one semi-final doubles match and two semi-final singles matches.
