After all the drama that happened at last year's US Open, I'm sure all eyes are back on Serena Williams, to see how she has recovered, especially emotionally and mentally. It's back to square one again on her goal for a calendar grand slam, and only Serena can tell if she can go through all that pressure once again.
In the past 13 years, Serena has won this title six times, so it's like she has won this every other year. She does have a very tough draw starting in the second round where she might meet one of the future queens of tennis, Jelena Ostapenko.
Other potential opponents for her include rising star Anna Schmiedlova, good friend Caroline Wozniacki, and last year's losing finalist, Maria Sharapova.
What's clear though is that, of all the slams, this should be one that she should win handily.
