I just saw Sara Errani win the Barcelona title a few weeks back so it's great again to see her win another clay title, this time in Budapest. Sara is on a roll! I haven't computed her clay court season points yet but Sara should be somewhere there in the Top 5 or at least the Top 10 - because I'm not also sure if the events she is playing has many player points.
Anyway, she won the Budapest Open today against comebacking Russian Elena Vesnina 75 64. It was not an easy match as Elena was in fighting form right from the start. But Sara was also aggressive most of the time and in crucial moments, edged her opponent.
She is one of the players I am definitely looking forward to see in Roland Garros!
