This year's French Open is turning out to be David Ferrer's best chance of winning his first Grand Slam. He gets a very good draw, with only Andy Murray or Richard Gasquet coming out as prospective quarterfinal opponents. He should be able to reach his first Grand Slam semifinal of his career and should face Nadal in the semi's. If he wins over Nadal, he should meet Djokovic in the final.
There is still a big question mark as to whether Andy Murray can go as far as the quarterfinals. He may meet Richard Gasquet in the fourth round, the same guy who defeated him in Rome.
