Marion Bartoli Wins Seventh WTA Title in Osaka
Marion Bartoli (#11) wins her second WTA title this year in the Osaka Open, following up her win in Eastbourne earlier this year. It's a great win for Marion as she defeats Samantha Stosur, this year's US Open champion 63 61.
In her semi's, she edged Angelique Kerber (#31), another revelation in the US Open this year, 61 76(5). She defeated local favorite Ayumi Morita (#55) in the quarters 62 61. The same scoreline in the second round against Vania King (#85) 61 62. Finally, she defeated Melinda Czink (#144) in the first round 62 62.
