Jo-Wilfried Tsonga: Semifinalist in Beijing
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (#7) continues his great season by reaching the semi-finals here in Beijing. Although the top seed, Tsonga lost to Tomas Berdych (#10) 64 46 61. Tsonga just came from winning the title in Metz.
In the quarterfinals, Tsonga defeated veteran Juan Carlos Ferrero (#84) 63 64. He defeated local boy Ze Zhang (#389) 63 64 in the second round. In the first round, he defeated Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov (#80) 76(5) 75.
