I just read today that our own Philippine Davis Cup team, led by Cecil Mamiit has lost 2-3 to Chinese-Taipei in their Group 1 matches in Cebu City. Because of this, the Philippines has been relegated to Group 2, in Davis Cup competitions for next year. Oh well, as they say, when you're down, the only way is up! So hopefully, with the addition of youngster Jeson Patrombon in the mix, and with Treat Conrad Huey in the team, we can climb back into Group 1 again.
