Novak Djokovic hasn't lost to any player in the grand slams for the past year and certainly not to a player not ranked within the top five.
So, hats off to Sam Querrey, currently ranked #41, for achieving a difficult feat of defeating Novak 76(6) 61 36 76(5) in his current form and breaking his winning streak in the grand slams! I never expected this to happen so it was smashing to see Sam Querrey just go toe-to-toe with Novak, especially in the fourth set.
I really thought Novak could come back from 2 sets down but since Sam just stuck with him and minimized his unforced errors, he was able to show to the rest of the men's field that there are days when Novak is only human too.
Sam is set to meet Nicolas Mahut (#50) in the fourth round.
