Germany used to be one of the more dominant nations in the WTA tour during the Steffi Graf and Anke Huber era so it's great to see that the country is having a resurgent tennis women's corps once again! Leading the way now is Andrea Petkovic, their first Top 10 players in so many years! Close by at #15 is Sabine Lisicki, at #21 Julia Goerges, #32 Angelique Kerber, #69 Mona Barthel and #91 Kristina Barrois. Germany also returns to the Top 5 after being absent for more than a decade!
