Fearless Forecast Australian Open 2012: Top Lower Draw
Serena Williams is always a threat when she is in any Grand Slam draw, and even though she has many worthy opponents in her side of the draw, I still pick her as the one to make it into the semifinals in her corner. Her most likely opponents include the pocket dynamo Dominika Cibulkova, 2012 Brisbane champion Kaia Kanepi and German wunderkind Sabine Lisicki. Former Grand Slam champions Svetlana Kuznetsova and Maria Sharapova are also in this draw, but I picked Lisicki to beat both of them for Sabine to reach her quarters.
Let's see if Serena lifts her sixth trophy as the Australian Open starts tomorrow.
