Fearless Forecast Australian Open 2012: Bottom Upper Draw

In my opinion, Andy Murray (#4) has the toughest draw among the Top 4 men's players!  Already a finalist here for the past two years, he has a tough road ahead of him, just to reach, event he semi's!  His prospective opponents include veteran Xavier Malisse (BEL) (#63), the underachieving yet competent Ernests Gulbis (LAT) (#60), Gael Monfils (FRA) (#15) and 2008 finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) (#6).  If he gets through all of them, a replay of last year's final might ensue in this year's semifinals, with Murray meeting the defending champion, Novak Djokovic.  If he gets through that, he might then have to fight the wily veterans Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for the title!  Not an easy task!

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga stands as the best person to foil any of the Top 4 this year, and he can make it possible in this year's Australian Open.  His prospective opponents include Ricardo Mello (BRA), Ivan Dodig (CRO) (#36) and Gilles Simon (FRA) (#12).  He might cause an upset in the quarters over Murray and then meet Novak in the semi's. If he gets through that, it might either be Nadal or Federer for the final.

Well, let's see how it all unfolds tomorrow!
