Stephanie Foretz Gacon: Player Outside the Top 100 Into the Second Round of the Australian Open 2012
Veteran French player Stephanie Foretz Gacon is currently ranked #107 in the world today although she got as high as #79 in 2002. Today, she defeated Elena Baltacha of Great Britain (#54) making her reach the second round for the second time in her career. She last reached the second round 10 years ago, in 2002. She will next meet Belgian Kim Clijsters (#14) in the second round.
