Majority of the world's Top 20 players were present in the Miami Open last week, but that did not deter Garbine Muguruza Blanco of Spain from making a sensational advance to the quarterfinals. She lost to eventual champion, Agnieszka Radwanska, 26 36, but she had wins over former Top 10 players, Flavia Pennetta (3R) and Vera Zvonareva (2R). She's still only 16 years old so she has time to really improve on her game. Her performance here should give her the confidence as she slowly builds her credentials in the WTA Tour.
