Today was semifinals day in the e-Boks Open in Copenhagen. I failed to see the match between Jelena Jankovic and Angelique Kerber but I learned later that the German prevailed. She will be the only stumbling block left against local darling Caroline who I think is gunning for her third straight title! Kerber though is on a rise and I'm sure it's going to be a tough match. I'm sure the local crowd will be cheering lustfully for Caro.
As for her semifinal today, despite some flashes of brilliance from the Croat, Petra Martic, Caro was still more consistent and did just enough to win it in two sets.
