There's a new crop of American tennis players slowly making their presence felt in the ATP Tour and one of them is Donald Young. He makes the semifinals in Legg Mason, only losing to Radek Stepanek, the wily veteran, 36 36.
Currently ranked #128, Donald won over players ranked much higher than him. In the quarters, he disposed of Marcos Baghdatis (#26) 63 76(4). In the third round, he defeated fellow American Michael Russell (#109) 63 63. In the second round, he got his biggest scalp in Austrian Jurgen Melzer (#18) 67(6) 64 31.
