The Final Four Women In Cincinnati
Maria Sharapova (#7) looks like she's poised to hoist the Cincinnati title in a few days time, as she tamed Samantha Stosur (#10) in the quarters 63 62. Her opponent in the semi's, Vera Zvonareva (#2), looks very tough too, as she disposed of Daniela Hantuchova (#23) 63 76(6). Whoever would win the semi's here between the two is my favorite to win the title. Sharapova should win in 3 tough sets.
Andrea Petkovic (#11) is continuing her winning ways by beating another Russian, Nadia Petrova (#27) 75 61. She will meet the resurgent Jelena Jankovic (#14), who had a walkover from Peng Shuai (#15). I think Andrea should be able to win over Jelena in three tough sets.
