Serena Williams is the sure top pick in this side of the draw, much to the chagrin of Victoria Azarenka, currently ranked at #5, who will most likely meet her in the third round. They have met earlier in the hard court season and Serena dealt with Vika emphatically.
Serena's most likely quarterfinal opponent is Jelena Jankovic, who reached a final of a hardcourt tournament a few weeks back. Francesca Schiavone is the other Top 10 player in this side of the draw. Jankovic might just edger her in the fourth round.
