Peng Shuai: Up and Coming Chinese Player
Li Na's spectacular win in Roland Garros should boost the confidence of her other countrywomen, chief among them, Peng Shuai, who has steadily been going up the rankings and has reached the Top 20 by virtue of a fourth round appearance in Roland Garros. Now, she reaches the semifinals of Birmingham, on grass, and it shows she can switch surfaces just as easily. Let's hope she does well in Wimbledon and should be out of Li Na's shadow in due time. She's China's best hope for the next Top 10 player.
