Caroline Wozniacki wins her fifth WTA Tour title this week at the Tokyo Toray Pan Pacific Open. Her earlier titles came in Ponte Vedra, Copenhagen, Montreal and New Haven. She still has to snag a Grand Slam title though, and from the looks of it, 2011 should be the year she gets one. This title also puts her on track to become the #1 player in the world.
I believe she can win a Grand Slam, but which one, will be the subject of my poll this week. I put my bet on the Australian Open next year. I believe she is getting stronger and will most likely be the person to beat in Melbourne.
By the way, this was Caroline's path to this championship -
Finals: Elena Dementieva (RUS) (#10) 1-6, 6-2, 6-3
SFs: Victoria Azarenka (BLR) (#11) 6-2, 6-7, 6-4
QFs: Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) (#9) 5-0 Abandoned
3R: Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (RUS) (#20) 6-1, 6-2
2R: Greta Arn (HUN) (#109) 6-1, 6-3
