Filip Krajinovic (#102) of Serbia reached the second round of the US Open for the first time ever. He won over Alejandro Gonzalez (#119) of Colombia 64 60 64.
However, he lost to David Ferrer (#7) of Spain in the second round.
This is his first time ever in the second round of any of the grand slams.
