I myself haven't heard much about Russian player Daria Kasatkina (#133) but due to the withdrawal of her more illustrious compatriot Maria Sharapova, she has handled her Lucky Loser card very well, by reaching the third round of her first ever grand slam!
She upset Australian Daria Gavrilova (#38) in the first round 62 46 75, then went on to defeat Croatian Ana Konjuh (#79) in the second round 64 64. She loses though to Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic (#40) 62 63 in the third round.
