Elena Baltacha: Player Ranked Outside the Top 100 Who Reached the Second Round of Wimbledon 2012

One of Britain's best female players, I didn't know that Elena Baltacha had already fallen out of the top 100, for now.  Currently ranked at #101, she defeated Karin Knapp of Italy, ranked 112, 46 64 60 in the first round here in Wimbledon.

She will next meet defending champion Petra Kvitova
