Maria Sharapova comes to this year's Wimbledon as the #1 player in the world and it's just fitting that she also gets the top seed in this year's competition. However, just like in Roland Garros, she faces a tough draw. Among her prospective opponents are Tsvetana Pironkova (a former semifinalist here), Virginie Razzano (Serena Williams' conqueror in this year's Roland Garros), Sabine Lisicki (last year's semifinalist) and Angelique Kerber (the winningest player in the women's game this year - as of this week) - and it could be Kerber that she meets in her quarterfinal.
