Wozniacki and Radwanska Will Meet For the First Time On Clay in Their Stuttgart Semi's
Caroline Wozniacki is already showing everyone that she's the player to beat in this year's clay court season - and is a strong favorite to win Roland Garros. Today, she defeats Andrea Petkovic of Germany to get through to the semi-finals of this event. With already 240 assured points, she widens her lead from the rest of the field. As of today, Elena Vesnina is a far second from her with only 96 points. A far third is Samantha Stosur, who has 70 assured points. Stosur will most likely be her opponent in the final.
In the semifinals, she will meet Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland, and this will be their first clay court meeting. They have meet four times before, all on hard courts, and Wozniacki has the head-to-head lead of 3-1. I won't be surprised if Wozniacki continues her run to the finals tomorrow. In three sets.
