Rafael Nadal (#1) wins back-to-back Monte Carlo and Barcelona titles again this year, by defeating David Ferrer in the final here in Barcelona. This early in the clay season, Rafa has so far dominated the competition, although pretenders to the King of Clay crown, David Ferrer and Nicolas Almagro have shown some competition.
