One Sure German Semifinalist, At Most Three in Stuttgart
Four German women are fighting for three semifinal slots in this week's Stuttgart Open. Their country is sure of one semifinal slot already, and I'm betting it would go to Sabine Lisicki, although Julia Goerges herself is a strong player. The other two though, may have their hands full. Kristina Barrois has to contend with a Top 10 player, Agnieszka Radwanska. Andrea Petkovic, the German #1, has to contend with the world #1, Caroline Wozniacki. However, since they have the home crowd behind them, it could be a factor to help them win over their opponents. We'll know tomorrow.
