ATP Rankings Watch: April 18 - Mardy Fish Enters the Top 10
It's an exciting week for Mardy Fish. He reaches the Top 10 for the first time in his career! This week, he moves from #11 to #10. This is the highest ranking he has ever got. Ditto also for Gael Monfils, who this week, returns to #9, a rank he reached in February of 2009. Jurgen Melzer also reaches the highest rank of his career, as he moves to #8 and a good chance to be in the year-end championships.
Milos Raonic also celebrates his highest rank yet, at #28! Ivan Ljubicic rebounds to #33.
Frederico Gil moves 18 spots this week to #64, also his highest rank, as of yet. He had to qualify for the main draw and managed to run up to the fourth round. Also, Maximo Gonzalez moves 12 notches to #81. Lik Gil, he also had to qualify for the main draw in Monte Carlo and reached the second round.
