Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia is in a very tough part of the women's draw, and although she is the highest ranked player left there, the star wattage of the other players has outshone her, that's why there hasn't been much media attention on her for now, which might be good.
Kerber and Sharapova are going to slug it off tonight in a titanic 3rd round match, and whoever wins, has to beat another great player, Agnieszka Radwanska in the 4th round
Garcia now has Madison Keys to worry about, which is by itself, going to be a tough match, and maybe Aggi after that and then maybe Simona in the semi's and Caroline in the finals.
For now, a semifinal appearance would be a great feather in the cap for this Frenchwoman who has made great inroads in the women's top 10 this past year.
