I am so happy to see Polish player Agnieszka Radwanska finally make it into a Grand Slam semifinal - and at Wimbledon at that! Today, she defeated Russian Maria Kirilenko in three sets!
She has been playing really well this year, enough to propel her to the top three in the world - and finally, she has shown the world that she can be one of the best! I guess because her way of playing is a bit subtle - she has been driven off the court by players who depend more on power before. Well, we'll see how she deals with the power of German Angelique Kerber, who's now into her second grand slam semifinal. Kerber's power was palpable during her match with fellow German, Sabine Lisicki.
Methinks though that Radwanska's clever playing will get her through to her first Wimbledon and grand slam final!
