This is the third time Frank Dancevic of Canada, currently ranked #107 in the world, to be in the second round of Wimbledon. He reached the same stage in 2007 and 2008. This year though, he had to go through the qualifying and was able to make it to the main draw.
He defeated Ivo Karlovic (#32) of Croatia in the first round, but succumbed to Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan (#63) in the second round.
