Thomaz Bellucci: Semifinalist - Acapulco Open 2011
Thomaz Bellucci (#36) reached the semi-finals of the Acapulco Open but he fell to Nicolas Almagro. He was the one who upset #9 seed Fernando Verdasco in the first round. He also had to fight through two three-set matches after that. This has been his best showing this year, as yet, and he has reached the quarterfinals of Costa Da Sauipe, Santiago and Auckland.
