Nicolas Almagro: Runner Up - Acapulco Open
We are now going into the clay season, which is usually the strongest surface for Spanish and Latin American players, so that it is not surprising that the Acapulco Open had two Spanish men in the finals.
Nicolas Almagro (#13) was the runner up, losing to David Ferrer in the championship match. However, Nicolas won both the Buenos Aires and the Costa Do Sauipe titles last month, plus, had a fourth round appearance in the Australian Open, and a semifinal appearance in Auckland! He is really a threat to the Top 10 if he continues his winning ways! This was his path to the championship -
