Return to Form: Lukasz Kubot of Poland - Acapulco Open 2011
A former Top 50 player last year, Lukasz Kubot (#132) has plummeted out of the Top 100 but is slowly returning to form. He reached his first quarterfinal this year in Acapulco, with two wins over players ranked higher than him, Eduardo Schwank (#104) and Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo (#75). He lost to Thomaz Bellucci in the quarters, in a hard-fought three set match. He now stands at #127. He has to work a bit harder still so that he can make it in the main draw of the French Open. A good showing there should catapult him back to the Top 100.
