Novak Djokovic Slays Nadal and Federer to Win Indian Wells
Novak Djokovic (SRB) (#3) looks like the man to beat these days in the ATP Tour. This week, he slays both the #1 (Nadal) and the #2 (Federer) in the world to win the championship in Indian Wells. I think Novak has found the missing component which has eluded him for years, and finally this year, he has made the breakthrough in forming the third wheel in the long-standing rivalry between Federer and Nadal. He won a second Australian Open title earlier in January. This was his path to the championship -
F - Rafael Nadal (ESP) (#1) 46 63 62
SF - Roger Federer (SUI) (#2) 63 36 62
QF - Richard Gasquet (FRA) (#21) 62 64
4R - Viktor Troicki (SRB) (#18) 60 61
3R - Ernests Gulbis (LAT) (#34) 60 61
2R - Andrey Golubev (KAZ) (#39) 60 64
