Last Monday, I was able to see Dominika Cibulkova's game against local girl Ashleigh Barty. Ashleigh won the first set but wasn't strong enough to hold off Dominika, who went on to win the match. However, if you watched the game, you could really see that this Ashleigh girl can play with the top girls in the tour! She has the game and the temperament to compete at the highest levels. She may need more tour experience now for starters and hopefully, we see a more competitive version of her in next year's Aussie Open.
