ATP Rankings: January 31, 2011
There's a lot of movement within the Top 100 as the results of the recently-concluded Australian Open sets its effects on the rankings this week.
In the Top 10, David Ferrer, moves up to #6, due to his semi-final appearance this year. Jurgen Melzer also enters the Top 10, at #10, due to his 4th round appearance.
In the Top 20, Stanislas Wawrinka, zooms up to #14, thanks to his quarterfinal appearance.
Within the Top 100, the biggest mover is Milos Raonic, a surprise 4th round appearance, allows him to zoom 58 places to #94.
Daniel Brands zooms 23 places to #79, while Richard Berankis climbs 22 places to #73. He reached the third round.
Another surprise quarterfinalist, Alexandr Dolgopolov, climbs 14 places to #32. If he continues to do well, he should be seeded in the French Open in May. Finally, veteran, Tommy Robredo reenters the Top 40, at #40, climbing 12 notches, thanks to his surprise 4th round appearance.
